About Me
a piece of my story
Hi, I’m Dami
My lived experience encompasses an academic and professional career in the natural sciences. I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology/Anthropology, Masters of Arts in Bioethics and Medical Humanities, with the direction of becoming a medical doctor candidate. I gained transferable skills not only in patient care, regulatory/quality, but also in service to my community through volunteering.
- Service
- Thoughtfulness
- Community
- Initiative
I developed a strong sense of justice, and I became an advocate for mental health. My lived experience enforced my desire to advocate for people by further developing empathy and challenging my beliefs on disease, illness, sickness and the healing process. I gained a strong sense of compassion and a duty to aid people in the healing process, even with their masks.
My mission is to be a positive impact; to be of service to people through prayer and sharing the gospel.
I received a redirection in my career as my healing journey led me to a deeper relationship with Jesus. While addressing my multiple traumas and diving deeper into the word, I discovered the meaning of healing and restoration through Jesus. To move forward was to follow Godly instructions. My mission is to be a positive impact; to be of service to people through prayer and sharing the gospel. To help people to know Jesus and to receive their own restoration/redemption. To be totally transformed in our soul, body and spirit.
